This section provides essential information and practical guidance for individuals who are planning to enroll in WSQ or IBF-funded programmes at Aventis. Understand the funding options available and how to take the next steps with confidence.
Advisory & Updates
e-Attendance via Singpass
From 1 October 2023, Singapore Citizens and PRs attending SSG-funded WSQ courses must use the Singpass App to record attendance, applicable to both physical and synchronous e learning.
SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) & Other Subsidies
Only self-sponsored learners may apply SkillsFuture Credit/SFC Top Up (excluding the Mid Career SFC Support) to offset course fees.
Submit SFC claims via MySkillsFuture within 60 days before course start. Late submissions will be rejected.
Programme Administrative Information
The following administrative processes apply to all WSQ / IBF courses at Aventis.
- All applicants must meet the entry requirements and follow the application procedures set by Aventis Graduate School (AGS) and Aventis Learning Group (ALG).
- Please ensure you have access to a working laptop, as it is required for both classroom-based and online sessions.
- Please ensure that you have your Singpass account set up and Singapass app downloaded for mandatory e-attendance taking.
- Please note that submission of an application does not guarantee enrolment. All applications will be reviewed to ensure that the minimum entry requirements for the programme are met.
- Applicants who do not meet the entry criteria or fail to provide the necessary supporting documents will be withdrawn from the programme and notified at least two weeks prior to the course commencement date.
- Successful applicants will receive a course confirmation email, which will include important administrative details.
Reminder email containing the venue details will be sent out one week before the course commencement date.
- A non-refundable registration fee of S$20 (inclusive of GST) is applicable upon signing up.
Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are entitled to funding for each WSQ/IBF course. - Learners must fulfil the required attendance and competency criteria. If these conditions are not met, Aventis reserves the right to reclaim any grants or subsidies that were provided.
- The total payable fee (inclusive of GST) covers all training sessions and assessments, including any approved subsidies or grants. *Please be advised that programme fees are subject to the prevailing GST rate at the point of payment.
Upon confirmation of enrolment, the invoice will be sent along with the confirmation email as an attachment. Payments are to be made in Singapore Dollars (SGD) before course commencement.
- Rescheduling requests must be submitted at least one week before the programme start date.
- Requests made after the course has commenced must be accompanied by valid supporting documents (e.g., medical certificate).
- To support administrative planning, please take note of our rescheduling policy (inclusive of GST):
- 1st reschedule: Free
- 2nd reschedule: S$54.5
- 3rd reschedule: S$76.3
- 4th reschedule and beyond: S$109 per request
For withdrawals, cancellations, and no-shows, learners will be subjected to the following charges:

Aventis reserves the right to change or cancel the course due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a course cancellation on our part, a full refund will be made.
- Full attendance is highly encouraged to help learners maximise their learning experience throughout the programme.
- Aventis requires at least 75% attendance to be eligible for assessment. Learners will be required to reschedule their training and assessment sessions if the attendance rate is not met.
- Please reach out to your respective consultant for rescheduling request.
- Singpass e-attendance
- As this is a SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)-funded course, digital attendance via the Singpass App is mandatory. Kindly ensure the following:

- Learners who do not have their Singpass App ready for classes will be required to re-schedule to a later date.
- Learners are advised to log in to Moodle (WSQ courses) or Learnworlds (IBF courses) before class commencement to ensure to ensure there are no access issues.
- Login credentials will be sent via email, along with a reminder, approximately one week before the start of class.
- To understand how your personal data is collected, used, and disclosed, please refer to Aventis’s Privacy Policy.
- Training and assessment recordings will not be made available for public access, as they contain personal data of learners.
- Only SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Aventis are authorised to access these recordings for purposes such as audit checks, quality assurance, and grant administration.
In-Course Administration

- Learners are required to access online sessions and course materials using only device such as desktop computer or laptop running on Windows 7 or later, or macOS.

- Accessories
- A functioning webcam, headset, and stable internet connection are mandatory.
- Mobile phones are not permitted as the primary device for attending classes.

- Learners should ensure they are in a quiet, distraction-free environment during all online sessions. Participation in any non-course-related activities during class is strictly discouraged.

- Online Presence
- All training and assessment sessions will be recorded. Learners must have their webcams switched on at all times, with their full face clearly visible.
- The learner's full name, as per NRIC, must be displayed throughout the session.

- Session Recordings
- Session recordings will not be shared for public viewing to protect learners’ data and privacy. These recordings will be made available only to SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Aventis for purposes of audit, quality assurance, and grant administration
Post Course Administration
WSQ full qualification learners will receive Certificates of Attainment (SOAs).
How to Check Your WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA):
- Visit the MySkillsFuture portal: http://www.myskillsfuture.gov.sg
- Click on Login (top right) and log in using your Singpass.
- Once logged in, click on "Go to Careers & Skills Passport"
- Under "Professional Certifications", you will find your WSQ Statement of Attainment listed.
(WSQ Courses Only) Learners are required to acknowledge the competency email sent to them. The Aventis e-certificate will only be issued upon acknowledgement.
- IBF courses:
Aventis e-certificates will be sent out within 3 working days after the course end date. - WSQ courses:
